This lamp is based off of a hand-drawn spiral intersected by a vertical pendant, resembling a hieroglyph or chameleon tail. Both the face and end grains of the wood are exposed, leading to interesting variations in color and patter.
All wooden goods in the shop are 100% designed and built by me through a combination of CADdesign, CNC router cutting, and traditional woodworking techniques.
